Dave's Sinatraism relates to Dave randomly bursting out in songs by or in the style of Frank Sinatra or other slow-paced Jazz-like themed artists.
Francis "Frank" Sinatra was a Jazz singer and actor who lived from 1915 to 1998. He became most popular in the late 1940s.
Dave first started having these random outbursts of Sinatraism in eighth grade, while first developing friendship with Alex in their first period chorus class. Throughout the year, Dave's class would sing several songs that Dave would find to be songs he already had heard many times, or just boring. For this reason, in December of 2009, when the class would pause in-between Christmas carols, Dave would add vocal symbols, trumpets, and other instrumental accompaniment to make the song more to his liking.
Songs Dave would Sinatracize are:
- The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas to You) by Nat King Cole
- Jingle Bells
- Hot Cup of Cocoa by Phyllis Aleta Wolfe
